STUDIES AND ADVICE
I am particularly good at evaluating and proposing conceptual engineering to meet process challenges.
Services include involvement in projects at the front end stage, pre-economic assesments, prefeasibility and definitive feasibility studies and the subsequent implementation of them.
i also get involved in evaluating specific production plants with the aim to improve performance. Debottlenecking or conversions of existing plants to new products can also be carried out.
I have a network of colleagues that have specific experience and skills in certain areas. Where appropriate, they are available to add to the capacity of the team.
DESIGN ENGINEERING
With my design experience, I am able to offer a range of services from Conceptual, Basic and Detail Design. This includes the generation of mass and energy balances, PFD's, P&ID's, process descriptions, equipment, line, valve, instrument and motor lists, functional design specification for PLC/DCS programming, site inspection during construction, cold and hot commissioning.
I have a network of colleagues that are also independent consultants. Depending on the requirements of the project, they are available to assist to add to the team's overall capacity.
QUALIFIED PERSON
I am registered as a Professional Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa.
Part of my service offering is to perform the duty of a Qualified Person as required by protocols such as the Canadian NI 43-101.
